Engage in frenetic, action-packed combat against warring factions in an all-new story where you make the rules. Equip unique weapons and deploy devastating, upgradable special abilities on a new adventure to save the world and enjoy a day without school.

It’s a snow day, dude!

Story

A monstrous blizzard has engulfed the small Colorado town of South Park, cancelling school and sending the adults into panic-buying toilet paper and hoarding supplies. Eric Cartman is ecstatic and recruits you—the “New Kid” from previous games—to join him and the gang for the most glorious snow day ever. What starts as a fun fantasy snow-war with wizards and elves quickly turns weird. Cartman claims there are factions at war (elves vs humans) in his backyard fortress “Kupa Keep,” and you’re pulled into investigating the chaos, uncovering that things are not as innocent as snow-ball fights. As you progress you realize the blizzard might have supernatural causes, dark matter is involved, betrayals happen and the “kids’ game” escalates into full-on boss fights, kidnappings, brainwashed townsfolk, etc. In short: what begins as childish make-believe turns into actual stakes for the town—and your snow day may be the last one ever, unless you save everything and everyone.

KEY FEATURES

  • It’s an all-new 3D co-op game.
  • A blizzard of epic proportions has blanketed the town of South Park and it’s up to Cartman, Stan, Kenny, Kyle, and you, as the New Kid, to save the town.
  • Experience cooperative gameplay for the first time ever in a South Park game with up to three friends or ally bots - unleashing powerful, coordinated attacks on your foes.
  • Equip and upgrade devastating melee and ranged weapons. Deploy special abilities and powers that will bring hordes of enemies and epic bosses to their knees.
  • Use a wide range of iconic cosmetics and customize your New Kid with endless possible combinations from beanies to Cheesy Poof T-shirts to chin balls.

GAMEPLAY MECHANICS

  • Up to 4 player coop (you + up to 3 friends, or bots) in a 3D action-adventure/hack-and-slash style.
  • Missions launch from a hub area (Kupa Keep) and you select a mission, pick your load-out: weapons (melee & ranged) + upgrade cards + “bullshit cards” that massively alter rules.
  • During runs you collect resources: toilet paper (in-game currency), dark matter, loot containers. These let you upgrade cards, gear, buy cosmetics, etc.
  • Powers: there are special abilities (e.g., Bubble Shield, Fart Escape, Snow Turret) you unlock and equip to give variance to runs.
  • The game exhibits roguelike elements: repeated runs, build variety, pick cards and modifiers each time. Some missions have modifier “Infernal Pacts” to raise difficulty.
  • Visual and thematic shift from the earlier 2D/RPG style of the series to this 3D, more accessible co-op action.

FACTIONS

  • Humans: under Cartman (and you) defending Kupa Keep.
  • Elves: (led by Kyle) who allegedly plotted an attack on Kupa Keep.
  • Townsfolk/Parents: Victims of the blizzard and dark matter chaos.
  • Dark Forces: (Mr. Hankey’s dark matter scheme) that transcend simple kid-war play and become the true threat.

MAIN CHARACTERS

  • Eric Cartman – The instigator of the snow day, creator of Kupa Keep, calls the shots and drags everyone into this mess.
  • Stan Marsh – One of the core boys, has his own territory (Marshwalker) and gets pulled into the power struggle.
  • Kyle Broflovski – Leads the elves’ faction (or is accused of it), investigates causes of the blizzard.
  • Kenny McCormick – When he’s not dying, he’s mixing fantasy roleplay and the snow war with the rest.
  • The New Kid – That’s you: player-created character, joins the boys, carries the game forward.

ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS & CAMEOS

  • Butters Stotch – Acts as Paladin Butters in the fantasy play, keeps track of cards.
  • Randy Marsh – Gets frozen in Stark’s Pond early, later reveals dark matter involvement.
  • Mr. Hankey – Yes, the Christmas Poo becomes antagonist via dark matter, boss fight.
  • Jimbo Kern & Ned Gerblanski – Townspeople recruited for side-quests (toilet paper shortage, etc.).
  • Cameos: numerous characters from South Park appear as NPCs, card dealers, sellers: e.g., Jimmy Valmer (card dealer), Henrietta Biggle (tarot card NPC).

LOCATIONS

  • Kupa Keep – The hub/home base in Cartman’s backyard from which you launch missions.
  • Main Street / Town Square – Snow-covered central town area, mission zones.
  • South Park Elementary – Snow-bound school building used as part of missions.
  • Stark’s Pond – Early quest area where Randy is frozen.
  • Forest / SoDoSoPa / Backyards – Various outdoors and suburban zones for missions, loot, bosses.

BOSSES

Kyle Broflovski (High Jew Elf King

  • Kyle appears as a boss early in the game, under the “elf king” motif.
  • This fight represents one of the major turning-points in the snow-war story.
  • The battle is staged in his territory and involves some of his special attacks tied to the elf theme.

When: At the end of Chapter 1 (“Stark’s Pond”) / early part of the story. What to expect: Kyle plays the leader of the “elves” faction, and the fight has some thematic flavor (elves, etc).

Kenny McCormick (Princess Kenny)

  • Kenny appears in a boss fight under the “Princess Kenny” persona.
  • This adds some flavorful variety: though usually a supporting character, here he takes a boss role.
  • His fight comes after Kyle in the sequence of major bosses.

When: After Kyle, in Chapter 2 or 3 depending on mission choice. What to expect: Kenny takes on a boss role which includes his distinctive Princess Kenny aesthetic.

Stan Marsh (Ranger Stan / Marshwalker)

  • Stan is featured as a boss when he’s equipped with a powerful axe (as per game story).
  • His fight signals a shift in the narrative (you fight one of the core group).
  • It tends to be more challenging because of the heightened stakes.

When: Around Chapter 3 (“The Tests of Strength”) or when the story shifts gears. What to expect: Stan has acquired a powerful axe in the story, making this boss fight more serious.

Eric Cartman (Grand Wizard King Cartman)

  • Cartman becomes a boss in his “Grand Wizard King” role.
  • This is a key moment in the story, involving Cartman’s betrayal and dark-matter plan.
  • His boss fight is both narrative-heavy and mechanically significant — you might face unique modifiers or heightened difficulty.

When: Later in the campaign, after you’ve progressed into the backyard/backyards segment. What to expect: Cartman plays the mastermind role in story, and this fight likely has narrative weight (betrayal, stakes).

Mr. Hankey (Final Boss: Scheisse-Hulud)

  • Mr. Hankey becomes the final boss, transformed into a giant worm-monster variant named “Scheisse-Hulud”.
  • The final battle takes place in Hell’s Pass (or a similarly epic location) and wraps up the main story.
  • This fight is designed to test everything you’ve learned and forces you to use your load-out, cards and strategies.

When: Final Chapter (“Hell’s Pass”) of the game. What to expect: Mr. Hankey transforms into a giant worm-monster form named “Scheisse-Hulud”. The story culminates here

Bonus / Mini-Boss: Snow Plow (The Beast)

  • While not always counted among the “major story bosses”, the “Snow Plow” (aka The Beast) is a notable challenge during Chapter 3.
  • The mechanic is different: the Snow Plow drives through arenas and reaching you can cause a fail. You’ll need to clear enemies and manage the doors/generators.
  • It’s sometimes optional or skipped if certain sub-quests are chosen.

When: As part of Chapter 3’s optional/alternate mission path. What to expect: This fight is very different from standard boss fights — it involves a vehicle-type hazard (the plow) and arenas with locked doors.

CURRENCIES

There are three different currencies adopted in the game:

  • Toilet Paper: Picked up through looting treasure chests and other containers. They can be used to raise the rarity of a selected Upgrade Card, or to reshuffle the deck of Cards. Unused Toilet Paper held at the end of the chapter may not be brought forward.
  • Dark Matter: Picked up through looting treasure chests and other containers or rewarded from Infernal Pacts. They can be used to unlock Perks. Unlike Toilet Paper, players get to keep their accumulated Dark Matter after completing a chapter.
  • Platinum Points: Rewarded from Achievements in the game, or Infernal Pacts. They can be used to purchase costumes from the Bazaar.

POWERS

  • Bubble Shield - Reflect projectiles back at your attackers.
  • Bullrush: Fart yourself forward through enemies, charging and carrying them with you.
  • Cheesing: Drug your enemies with cat urine to make them temporarily fight for you.
  • Drone Bomb: Release a drone that seeks enemies and explodes after a short delay.
  • Fart Escape: Fart yourself up to safety and gross out the enemies in your wake.
  • Gravity Bomb: Release a drifting void that sucks enemies in and damages them.
  • Healing Totem: Plant a totem that heals you and your allies for a short time.
  • Snow Turret: Construct a mechanical monstrosity that fires snowballs for you.
