About[edit]

The leader of the communist revolution in Cuba, who would remain in power in the country for decades, Fidel Castro was widely seen as one of America's foremost enemies. When Sheila Broflovski promised to let her son, Kyle go to a Raging Pussies concert if he could make Cuba democratic, he wrote a heartfelt letter and song, "One Wish", that single-handedly convinced Casto to make Cuba a free, democratic country. (Kyle, on the other hand, never attended that concert.)

Featured Cameos[edit]

Bonus Factoids[edit]

  • Although Castro does not appear in the episode nor is mentioned directly, the events of "Quintuplets 2000" directly reference the Elian Gonzalez affair, which had occurred between the United States and Cuba at the time.
    • Strangely enough, both Janet Reno, the U. S. Attorney General who was parodied in that episode for her role in the crisis, and Fidel Castro, who was parodied later the same season, both died a few weeks apart in November 2016.
