| Kyle comes over to Stan's house where all his close friends are to announce that his mom is taking him and three other friends to Casa Bonita for his birthday. Kyle chooses to invite Butters over Eric because he owes him one after he invited him to one of his parties. After hearing this, Eric then flips out and is not nice to Kyle which is the main reason he chooses Butters instead. After Eric fails at trying to be nicer to Kyle, Eric gives up and let's Kyle know he doesn't care if he goes to Casa Bonita if it's detrimental to his friendships with Stan and Kenny. Kyle is then grateful that Eric was more honest about their friendship and mentions that if Butters isn't able to come on Saturday, he can come in his place.

| After hearing about this possible contingency, Eric has Butters come over to his house to look through his telescope to convince him there is a meteor the size of Wyoming is on a collision course for earth. Butters freaks out and Eric pretends things are dire and gets Butters inside Jimbo's backyard bomb shelter to survive the impending destruction. Eric goes to Kyle's house on his birthday to deliver a present to him knowing that he will certainly be invited along because Butters is stuck in the bomb shelter. The Stotches come over to deliver the bad news that Butters is missing and they have arranged a search party to search everywhere including bomb shelters.

| The Party is then postponed until next Saturday because it would be weird for the boys to celebrate when one of the them is missing. Realizing that the search party would be looking for Butters in a bomb shelter eventually, Eric decides to continue his ruse to the next story line which involves relocating Butters to a run down gas station, on foot, with a box on his head while telling him of all the destruction all around. At the gas station, they encounter a cannibal, who Butters thinks is real, who is trying to eat Eric. Eric fends it off, but tells Butters that he needs to put him somewhere safe so that even he can't get to him. He then puts him in an old fridge where later a garbage truck comes to pick him up and haul him off to the dump.

| After about a week of being at the dump, Butters attempts to rebuild society using the scraps and trash from the Dump. Eventually, a lady who apparently works there, notices Butters and tells him this place is a dump to which Butters is insulted, but the lady is trying to tell him everything is fine and that everyone is looking for him. Butters finally realizes he was lied to and he requests to use her phone.

| Meanwhile, as the kids and Mrs. Broflovski show up to Casa Bonita, Mrs. Broflovski gets a phone call that Butters is found and that Eric was behind the whole scheme. The police is then already on their way. Eric then quickly enters the restaurant to get a thoroughly immersed experience in record time before they can catch him. The police nearly catch him at the top of the waterfall when Eric impulsively jumps off the cliff into the pool below to get away from them. The story ends with Eric losing his friends and going to Juvie.
