Help Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny take on Tenorman and his army of Ginger robots before they destroy South Park! Suit up as the boys' superhero alter-egos to track Scott and his evil forces through time and space in this exciting platformer. It's the ultimate fight to save South Park! ==Story== The story is narrated from the perspective of the Allied Atheist Alliance Otters, lead by the Wise One as he tells the children of the Time Child, explaining how one day his room was broken into by his arch-nemesis, his half-brother Scott Tenorman, who stole his Xbox 360 Hard Drive, containing his and his friends' progress on games such as Batman: Arkham City and L. A. Noire, and in an effort to prevent themselves from having to replay all of those games, they attempt to retrieve it despite Tenorman somehow escaping through a portal in time and space. The boys must first escape a future in which Tenorman has become some kind of a dictator, using an army of Gingerbots to conquer the world and do battle with the same future atheists that Cartma had previously encountered. Stolen creations from Dr. Alphone Mephesto also become obstacles, but the boys eventually reach the 'Robo-Tenorman 1.0' mech, piloted by Scott himself, who flees upon his defeat, taking the hard drive with him. The boys follow him to the present and escape to the sewers, riding the Poo-Choo Train to the Hankey Residence, where Mr. Hankey alerts them of brown keys throughout space-time that can allow them to return to him. At Pi-Pi's Splashtown, the boys follow Tenorman and escape an encounter with another violent storm of urine before they are lead to TynaCorp, the company which had manufactured Towelie, who promises to guide their way through, but fails to do so as he is high. After an encounter with Manbearpig, the boys end up in the Park County Trash Dump, where they try to rescue Butters from Tenorman's crutches, before crawling up a a ladder made out of old junk to Heaven just as war breaks out between the Angels of Heaven, lead by Saint Peter, and the Demons of Hell, lead by the Anti-Christ. Given a reprieve by Satan, who sends them through the jungles of Peru, home of the ancient guinea monsters, the boys eventually arrive at the North Park Funland theme park, where Tenorman's lair, a massive Chili Con Carnival is located, and must battle waves of Gingerbots and Merphesto's creations, until they face 'Robo-Tenorman 2.0' and do another battle. Though they nearly lose their beloved hard drive, the boys manage to work together to defeat Tenorman until next time, and can resume playing Xbox once more, concluding the otters' story. ==Gameplay Mechanics and Collectibles== The game is a two-dimensional side-scrolling platformer, where the player can control any of the main boys, using their special ability and their jump in order to move through the platforms, avoid obstacles, and defeat enemies by jumping on their heads. A number of tools, such as wiffle ball bats, can also be discovered to enable better defeating against enemies. Pre-selected areas allow for transforming into the boys' superhero identities for a set period of time. Collectibles include time particles and the more valuable time cores, and collecting a certain amount of each will unlock the next or additional levels to play. This sometimes necesitates replaying a level after completion before the player can move on. ==Memorable Quotes== *"Do you like my robots, Eric? They're half-Ginger, just like you!" - Scott Tenorman * "I have a nice little surprise for you boys. It's a Time Bomb! Hope you enjoy eternity forever destined to repeat your failure!" - Scott Tenorman ==Playable Characters== *Only the four main boys are playable in this game, but each has a special ability, and can gain an additional ability by transforming into their superhero alter-ego: {{Character list | Name = Call Girl http://southparkstudios.mtvnimages.com/shared/characters/alter-egos/call-girl.png ===Special Abilities=== Each of the boys has two special abilities, one as themselves and one while under their superhero alter-ego: *Cartman can use a 'belly barge' to knock over walls and bounce. **The Coon: Can use his claws and agility to climb up walls, pipes and vertical surfaces. *Stan can throw footballs ahead to knock over or stun enemies, making them easier to defeat. **Toolshed can use his drill to unlock new areas and drill through dirt. *Kyle can remove his hat and use his auburn 'jewfro' to access areas intended to only be accessible by Ginger Kids. **The Human Kite can glide over extended gaps between areas. *Kenny can jump higher than any other character. **Mysterion is unable to die, and can get past otherwise fatal traps as a 'ghost'. ==Friends and Allies== *The following characters play a role in the game's storyline but are not playable: ===Opponents and Bosses=== *While Gingerbots, disguised as Ginger Kids make up the vast variety of opponents in the game, along with the occasional appearance of Mephesto's Creations, such as the Gorillasquito, other opponents and bosses appear on various levels to give the player a hard time. The release of South Park: Tenorman's Revenge was heavily promoted in synergy with the premiere of Season Sixteen and the original trailer included on the DVD release of the previous season. When it was originally released, singleplayer mode required the player to select one and only one character to play in the original levels, making completing story mode impossible. A later update allowed the player to switch between the characters freely to harness each of their abilities, although it made various other tasks much easier. ==Pop Culture References== *The boys mention then recently released Batman: Arkham City and L. A. Noire as games contained on their Xbox 360 hard drive, both of which had come out in the previous year and were shown in Cartman's possession in "1%" and "You're Getting Old" respectively during Season Fifteen. ==Bonus Factoids== ===Pointless Observations=== *The Sewer (and the Hankey Residence within) is the only location in this game that appears in South Park: The Stick of Truth. The other locations were not included in that game, nor in South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play. *The trailer for the game features 'Gingerfication' as the process for creating the Gingerbots' life-like skin, a phrase that first appeared way back in season 2's "Spookyfish". ==Myths & Legends== *The game's storyline is explained entirely from a third-person perspective, and how the boys generally travel through space-time is never explained ingame, although characters such as Satan assist them with some individual points of travel. According to early press information, it is Dr. Alphonse Mephesto who is helping the boys repair the time stream. The final game also references Mephesto via his creations being mini-bosses.
