Sophie joins the Fourth Grade in the Season 23 episode Basic Cable. Originally from Scottsdale Arizona, she enjoys soccer, is an avid fan of the Disney+ series 'The Mandalorian', and has diabetes. Sophie also has a habit of fidgeting with her hair when she talks.
Personality[edit]
Sophie is shown to be very open and friendly to others. She displays confidence in herself and isn't intimidated or put off by the odd behavior of her new friends. Despite how casual and upbeat she is around others, Sophie does have to take her condition seriously and while not letting her diabetes identify her, she does take solace in her situation being understood.
Family[edit]
Not much is known yet regarding Sophie's parents except that she moved with her mother to South Park but her Dad still lives in Scottsdale.

Friends[edit]
Scott Malkinson, who has always been ridiculed for his diabetes, immediately became attracted to her when realizing they share the same condition. Sophie didn't return these feelings to Scott however she nonetheless expresses gratitude that she has a classmate who understands the struggles diabetics face, and they remain friends.
