Jesus and Santa’s long history has not always been so friendly. Dating back to “The Spirit Of Christmas”, the holiday short that eventually paved the way for South Park, Jesus and Santa were once mortal enemies. Jesus and Santa almost killed one another before the boys opened were able to open their eyes and quell the violence.
A throwback to “The Spirit Of Christmas”, the holiday card that started it all, Jesus and Santa sing a duet at McKemicks in “Mr. Hankey’s Christmas Classic”.
This wouldn’t be the last time Jesus and Santa would team up, fast forward to “Red Sleigh Down” where Santa crashes his sleigh in Baghdad and is captured by enemy forces. With no one else to turn to, the boys recruit Jesus to head to Iraq in a dramatic rescue mission.
