The Cherokee in the “Cherokee Hair Tampons” commercial was played by one of our audio editors, Lydia Quidilla. And yep, that’s Cheech and Chong voicing the faux Native Americans. Tommy Chong visited our studios to record his lines. He looked like a suburban dad, man, but very cool. Cheech Marin recorded his lines in San Francisco. Props to Cheech for putting up with Don Johnson for that long. Don Johnson hit on my friend’s younger sister when she was like, 19 years old. Dude, Sick!
