Re: Celebrity Deaths 2015
Quick notes:
Dickens was the last "original" of the Grand Opry. Was always a fan favorite in Nashville.
Brooke was from Massachusetts.
First African American 'voted' into the U.S. Senate. (there was an African American Senator in the 1880's -- when only certain people would vote/delegate).
Both will be missed.

STUART SCOTT!!
http://www.latimes.com/sports/sportsnow ... story.html
He was a main broadcaster on ESPN SportsCenter for many years. He was 49. He died from Cancer, something he battled off and on for many years. A Sports Broadcasting legend, and a fighter for cancer and cancer research. He will sorely be missed by many in my generation. One final "Boo-ya!" to him

Re: Celebrity Deaths 2015
I'm not gonna lie. Last night, I started getting hot in bed. After getting out of my pajama bottoms and putting on some cotton shorts, I turned the pillow over, and it was cool. And it made me think of Stuart Scott saying "he's cooler than the other side of the pillow." I wasn't always his biggest fan, but he definitely became a favorite closer to the end of his life. Stuart Scott was truly cooler than the other side of the pillow.mo303564 wrote:STUART SCOTT!!![]()

Re: Celebrity Deaths 2015
I have not one, but two deaths to report. Francesca Hilton, daughter of Zsa Zsa Gabor and hotel magnate Conrad Hilton left this earth in a very Elvis like fashion at the age of 67 yesterday. (not always the best way to go out, but whatever)
Also, former Giants coach Allie Sherman has died at 90.
